While much of any law student's time is (and should be) occupied by attending classes and studying, Tulane law students quickly realize that the Law School is a place where things are always happening, both inside and outside the classroom.  The organizations listed below were started and are maintained by students, under the auspices of the student government, the Student Bar Association.

American Bar Association/Law Student Division

The Law Student Division of the American Bar Association (LSD/ABA), organized in 1949, offers students a platform for presenting their ideas to the ABA and an opportunity to work within a national organization. Tulane is a member of the 13th Circuit of the ABA, which comprises twelve law schools in Louisiana and Texas.
