There are eight law journals sponsored by or otherwise affiliated with Tulane Law. Six of these journals are run solely by students: Tulane Law Review, Tulane Maritime Law Journal, Tulane Environmental Law Journal, Tulane Journal of International & Comparative Law, Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property, and Law & Sexuality. The Tulane European & Civil Law Forum has faculty involvement in the selection of manuscripts, but students assist with editing. The Sports Lawyers Journal is published by the national Sports Lawyers Association and edited by Tulane students.
Tulane journals are regularly cited, both nationally and internationally. A recent survey found that citations of articles in the Tulane Law Review place it in the top 15% of general law reviews. The Tulane Maritime Law Journal is the top-cited maritime journal, and the Tulane Journal of International & Comparative Law is in the top third of international and comparative law journals, based on citations. Citations of the Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property increased by 50% over the last time period surveyed.
