Durable Relationships Under the Law

The 2010 symposium, Durable Relationships Under the Law, will cover a variety of topics including the kinds of policy concerns, public and private discourse, upcoming legislation, regulations, treaties, and practices that pertains to LGBT concerns.  Panels will cover the unique legal considerations that LGBT clients face when seeking legal instruments such as: power of attorney, orders of adoption, wills, property transfers and how to better serve these clients.  Panels will also address the specific needs of trans-gender clients, and clients who are victims of intimate partner violence.  Please scroll down to view a full schedule of this year's symposium panels.

 

Registration Information

 

  •  Registration Fee:
  •  $50: General Registration
  •  $25: Students and faculty (non-Tulane), government and nonprofit employees, paralegals
  •  $0: Tulane students, faculty and staff
  •  Fee includes course material and refreshment breaks
  •  Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of registration

 

Cancellation and Refund

  •  We offer a full refund, less a $10 cancellation fee, through January 28th 

 

CLE Credit

  •  CLE credits for this symposium will be recognized in Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana.
  •  Attorneys licensed in 60-minute states will receive a maximum of 4.0 hours.
  •  Attorneys licensed in 50-minute states will receive a maximum of 4.8 hours.
