Biography:
Prior to his arrival at Tulane's Career Development Office, Mr. Dávila-Caballero was an associate at the law firm of Laturno, Graves & Gillaspey in San Diego, California. Mr. Dávila-Caballero was a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group where he gained experience in the area of employment law.
Previously, Mr. Dávila-Caballero practiced in New York City, where he collaborated in litigation involving one of the largest US manufacturers of personal computers and assisted in the antitrust defense of a prominent auction house.
As a former Legal Officer for the Organization of American States in Washington, DC, Mr. Dávila-Caballero counseled governments from North, South, and Central America on an array of legal issues, including corruption, cyber-crime, and arbitration.
Mr. Dávila-Caballero's areas of focus are international legal positions, as well as diversity initiatives for the Law School.
Mr. Dávila-Caballero is admitted to practice in the state of New York and is a member of NALP–The Association for Legal Career Professionals, the American Bar Association (ABA), The National LGBT Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).
