Biography:
After graduation from Tulane's MBA program, Ms. Schumacher worked for a real estate consulting firm for a year before becoming the first member of the Marketing Department at Southern Baptist Hospital (now known as Memorial Medical Center). As Marketing Coordinator and later Product Line Manager at the hospital, Ms. Schumacher was responsible for various aspects of advertising, market research, and public relations including community education programming. After 12 years at Southern Baptist Hospital, she was hired by LSU Medical School as a Coordinator for Academic Services. In 1997, Ms. Schumacher joined Tulane Law School as Director of Continuing Legal Education where she oversees implementation of the Law School's Continuing Legal Education seminars and assists various law school departments with internal conferences and seminars.
