Biography:
Dennis Kehoe was Andrew W. Melon Professor in the Humanities in 2010-2013.
 
Kehoe, a Professor of Classical Studies in the School of Liberal Arts, has a particular interest in Roman social and economic history and Roman law. He is a leading scholar on the role of legal institutions in shaping the Roman Empire’s economy.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dartmouth College, Kehoe also has a B.A. in Classics from Magdalen College, Oxford and a Ph.D. in Classical Studies from the University of Michigan.
