Biography:
Brian McNamara is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Coast Guard where he serves as an attorney-advisor for the Marine Casualty Investigations National Center of Expertise.  He received his J.D. from William and Mary and served as the Articles Editor for the William and Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review.   In 2011, he received an LL.M. in Admiralty Law from Tulane Law School.  Lt. Cmdr. McNamara has previous teaching experience in the Coast Guard.  His daily work is the subject of this course.
