Mr. Zimmering joined Stone Pigman in 1977 and is a member of the firm. His practice is concentrated in public utilities regulation, and he regularly represents the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Mr. Zimmering was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1976.
Mr. Zimmering earned his law degree at Tulane University Law School in 1976, where he was selected to the Order of the Coif. He was a member of the Tulane Law Review Board of Editors, 1974-75, and was Assistant Editor, 1975-76. He received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brown University in 1970 and 1971.
Mr. Zimmering was law clerk to the Honorable John A. Dixon, Jr., Louisiana Supreme Court, 1976-77. He is a member of the American and Louisiana State Bar Associations. Mr. Zimmering has been named to The Best Lawyers in America in the field of energy law. He has been named to Chambers USA in the field of Energy and Natural Resources: Utilities law.
