Susanne Veters is an Associate in McGlinchey Stafford's New Orleans office focusing her practice on labor and employment law. Ms. Veters has extensive experience representing employers in employment disputes, employee benefits claims, and other compliance matters. She regularly handles employment disputes in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge cases concerning alleged violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Section 1981, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave, Employee Polygraph Protection Act, Whistleblower Statutes, and Louisiana Employment, wage and Non-compete matters.
Since 2004, Ms. Veters has served on the adjunct faculty at Tulane University Law School. Susanne earned her law degree from Humboldt University School of Law in Berlin, Germany and her Master of Laws degree, with a focus on US labor and employment Law and sports law, from Tulane University Law School. Ms. Veters also holds a Mediation Certificate from Tulane University Law School.
