Michael Moran is engaged in the private practice of law with concentrations in litigation-personal injury, commercial, banking, real estate, bankruptcy, and general civil practice over his career.  He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1972 and was also admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the US Court of Claims in Washington, DC.  His legal ranking from Martindale-Hubbell is AV "very high to preeminent."  Louisiana Life magazine named him a "Top Louisiana Lawyer" in 2007.  He is the co-producer of and speaker for "Negotiate for Success" and "The Advanced Personal Negotiator."

Mr. Moran served on the Board of Directors of the USA&M National Offices and is a former member of the National Advocacy Panel for United States Arbitration & Mediation, Inc. of Seattle, Washington.  Dating since 1990, Mr. Moran has mediated approximately 3,000 cases involving personal injury, real estate, construction, wrongful death, medical-legal malpractice, contracts, employment, commercial disputes, products liability, environmental (toxic tort), and family law.  Mediation experience includes complex multi-party litigation with amounts in dispute exceeding $100 million.  He is a charter fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and the American College of Civil Trial Mediators.
