Biography:
Carney Anne Nasser is legislative counsel at the Animal Legal Defense Fund, a national non-profit that advances the interests of animals through legislation, litigation and education. She previously served as counsel for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Foundation, where her practice focused on litigation and regulatory matters concerning captive exotic animals.

She also has worked at Tulane Law School as a career counselor in the Career Development Office, specializing in public interest, government and sports law opportunities. And she has practiced law in Dallas, Texas.
