This position is designed for scholars focusing on regulation of economic activity very broadly construed (including, for example, research with a methodical or analytical focus relevant to scholars of regulation). It is also designed for individuals who plan to apply for tenure-track law school positions during the second year of the professorship. The position is supported by the Murphy Institute at Tulane, an interdisciplinary unit specializing in political economy and ethics that draws faculty from the economics, philosophy, history, and political science departments.
