This fund was endowed by Tulane engineering graduate John Gidiere before his own death, in honor of his late uncle, Philip Gidiere, who was an alumnus of the Tulane law class of 1901 and practiced law in New Orleans for many years. It is awarded to an outstanding student who demonstrates financial need.
