Dr. C. Mark Whitehead, III, a graduate of the Tulane School of Medicine class of 1995 and the Tulane Law School class of 2000, has endowed this scholarship in honor of his father, Dr. C. Mark Whitehead, Jr., a member of the Tulane School of Medicine class of 1966. The scholarship is to be awarded to law student who demonstrates high academic achievement. Preference is given to a student with permanent residence in one of the Acadiana Parishes of Louisiana. Dr. Whitehead III is the founding member of the Whitehead Law Firm in Lafayette, Louisiana.
