17th Annual Tulane Environmental Summit: From Local to Global
Tulane Environmental Law Society is pleased to announce its 2012 Summit on Environmental Law & Policy. This year's theme, "From Local to Global," celebrates the interconnectedness between environmental concerns in our own communities and across the world. The Summit will be held March 2-3, 2012 at Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, LA. The Summit will feature concurrent, CLE-accredited panels and is open to attorneys, students and university faculty, public interest organizations and the general public. Al;so, for the first time, attendence is free to students and NGOs!
This year's panels will present diverse views on oceans and plastics, the Massey Coal litigation, the Sabine River controversy, and more.* Attorneys may earn CLEs for attendance. Students will have a chance to meet this year's panelists and learn about career opportunities through career panels.
