The Washington, D.C., office of Winston & Strawn hosted Tulane University Law School alumni Aug. 5 for a “Summer in the City” event featuring former Dean Paul Verkuil, who now chairs the Administrative Conference of the United States. The conference, which Congress revived in 2009 after a 15-year hiatus, is a public-private partnership whose members develop recommendations for improving government operations.
Verkuil was Tulane Law School Dean from 1978 to 1985 before going on to serve a term as president of William & Mary.
Winston & Strawn also hosted a Tulane “Summer in the City” gathering in New York City Aug. 1.
