Former Justice of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights coming to speak

April 04, 2013

The Eason-Weinmann Center has invited Margarette May Macaulay, until last year Justice at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, for a series of events about international human rights protection in the Americas. Mrs. Macaulay will be giving a talk about the Court (composition, key cases, effect of decisions, and interaction with national courts) on Monday, April 8, at 10:00 a.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Interested students are invited to attend. A Faculty presentation about the right to education in the jurisprudence of the Court is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9.
