Tulane Law School Professor Vernon Palmer will be signing his new book, Through the Codes Darkly…Slave Law and Civil Law in Louisiana, at Octavia Books (513 Octavia Street) on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:00 pm. The book will be available for purchase, and Professor Palmer will be there to discuss it. All are welcome to attend.
