Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, and Berkowitz PC has given Tulane University Law School a gift of $30,000 to establish a non-endowed law scholarship fund in the law firm’s name. First-year law students at Tulane are eligible for the scholarship, which may be bestowed to the same student throughout their tenure at the law school. The scholarship is open only to those students native to the state of Louisiana.
“Tulane Law School plays an important role in shaping the legal community in Louisiana, the Southeast and nationally,” said Roy Cheatwood (L ’74), managing partner and shareholder of the Louisiana offices of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, and Berkowitz PC. “Many of us in the Louisiana offices of Baker Donelson are Tulane graduates who share the importance Tulane places on excellence and are proud to have established this scholarship for Tulane Law School students.”
The recipient of the Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, and Berkowitz PC law scholarship also will be invited to interview for a summer position with the firm.
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz P.C. is a law firm and lobbying group with offices in the Southeastern United States, District of Columbia, and London, England.
