On the same day the U.N. Security Council will hold a special session on Sudan's Darfur region, Tulane University will host a talk by Steve Hansch, senior associate at Georgetown University's Institute for the Study of International Migration, on the role non- governmental relief agencies can play in addressing the Darfur crisis. Hansch, who has just returned from Darfur, will give a firsthand account of the crisis, which has claimed at least 70,000 lives since March. Hansch's presentation will take place Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 110 of Tulane Law School. Free and open to the public. To read more visit
