Contributions to programmatic development and academic initiatives provide the endowment necessary to preserve the fiscal integrity of Tulane Law School. Unlike a gift to the Law Annual Fund, which is unrestricted in its purpose and utilized in the current fiscal year, a gift to the endowment exists in perpetuity and is designated to an area of interest to you. An endowed fund ensures that the area or program to which it is designated can sustain itself without depending on tuition revenue and/or the operating budget.
Naming just a few of the possibilities, endowed funds can be established to:
- Sustain an existing or new academic program
- Launch a new academic initiative
- Recruit leading scholars to the faculty
Because there are so many opportunities to name an endowed fund, please contact Tulane Law School Dean Lawrence Ponoroff , at 504.865.5937 or lponoroff@tulane.edu to discuss what programs and academic initiatives would be of interest to you.
