Life after Law School

There are many ways for Tulane Law alumni to become more involved with activities at the School--from recruiting new students to assisting current students with their careers.

Get Involved

Here you will find some alumni volunteer opportunities to strengthen student programs at Tulane Law School.

If you’d like to play a part in strengthening the student programs at Tulane Law School, please consider these volunteer opportunities. Alumni participation helps us so much in continuing to attract the very best students to the unique educational experience of Tulane Law School.

Admission Ambassador - Remember when you were deciding where to attend law school? Maybe you talked with an alumnus of Tulane about his or her law school experience. The Office of Admission regularly responds to requests from prospective students wishing to talk with alumni in their geographical area or in their potential practice area. The Office also arranges “accepted-student” events throughout the country. Please volunteer to assist with these efforts by contacting Associate Dean Susan Krinsky at skrinsky@law.tulane.edu.

Team Tulane - Team Tulane is a network of alumni who serve as a resource to current students and fellow alumni with questions about a certain geographic area or job setting. If you have time to share your experience, consider joining Team Tulane. You can find more information and sign up by clicking here.

Career Panelist - The Career Development Office sponsors many programs throughout the school year to expose students to various career options - from public to private practice, corporate to public interest, big city to small town. To volunteer to participate as a panelist for a career development program, call Carlos Davila-Caballero at (504) 862-8834 or email him at cdavila@law.tulane.edu.

Mock Interviewer - The Career Development Office regularly arranges opportunities for current students to "practice" their interview skills. These opportunities can be face-to-face or over the telephone. If you are willing to help a current student develop better interview skills, contact the Career Development Office at careers@law.tulane.edu and offer to serve as a Mock Interviewer.

Networking - Help us enlarge the opportunities for our students to network with professionals. If you know of a job opening, if you are in a position to recommend that an employer consider Tulane law students or graduates, if you are able to allow a Tulane law student to "shadow" you for a day or week over winter or spring break, please contact us in the Career Development Office at careers@law.tulane.edu.
