An important role of the CDO is to educate students about career resources, market trends, interviewing and professional techniques, as well as other facets of the job search process.  CDO programs, workshops, and networking events are the main vehicles to accomplish these goals.

Programming

The Career Development Office provides numerous educational workshops and related programs throughout the year. Some programs focus on the career development process and the skills necessary for an effective employment search. Other programs feature attorneys sharing their career stories and focus on teaching students.  A sampling of recent programming is listed below.

Current students should visit CRIS and the Law School Web calendar on the Intranet for a schedule of upcoming CDO programs.

Recent Programs

  • CDO First-Year Orientation Program
  • Successful Interviewing Skills
  • How to Become an International Lawyer
  • Public Interest Luncheon
