As the most widely recognized management credential in the US healthcare system, the MHA is a valuable adjunct to a law degree.  Members of law firms specializing in health care delivery issues, in-house legal counsel, and many other attorneys who deal with the complex regulatory environment of the health care system in both the public and private sectors recognize that knowledge of health care management is critical to their effectiveness.
