| Course Description | | | This course examines the law governing the transmission of property at the owner’s death. Topics emphasized are intestate succession; the execution and revocation of wills; the creation of private trusts; the nature of the beneficiary’s interest in a trust; special policy concerns regarding the decedent’s obligation to provide for his or her spouse and children.
