| Course Description | | | This course will examine state, federal and, international laws concerning the protection of trademarks and certain limitations on the manner in which companies and individuals may compete in the market. Emphasis will be placed on the economic forces and the legal rules which govern marketing practices, the licensing and use of trademarks, and the creation and maintenance of desirable product images, both in the domestic and in the emerging global economy.
