| Course Description | | | This course offers a trial practice workshop in toxic tort litigation. Its classes follow the progress of a typical case from client interviews to complaint and answer, discovery, expert testimony (direct and cross), motions and oral argument. Grading will be based on written and oral exercises; no examination. This course will be taught by William Goodell who is a sole practitioner specializing in environmental and toxic damage litigation. He was formerly an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana, and has also presented the Environmental Trial Advocacy course at Tulane.
