| Course Description | | | This course examines the proliferation of the state and local tax regime, focusing on multi-state taxation. Topics include the constitutional protections afforded by the Commerce Clause, Equal Protection Clause and Due Process Clause and multi-state corporate income tax, multi-state corporate franchise tax, multi-state sales, use and lease tax, and overall tax planning to minimize multi-state taxation. This course is taught by Robert W. Nuzum, a partner in Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. Offered every other year.
