Civil Litigation: Strategy & Practical Skills

Course Description
The course will provide a practical application of how to take a lawsuit from the initial client contact through trial and appeal.  Students will discuss and prepare pleadings, including Complaints/Petitions, Discovery Requests and Responses, Motions, and Judgments, and will be provided with a practical understanding of what is expected of them by judges and how the rules of civil procedure are applied in the real world.  The course will be taught by Robert L. Redfearn, Jr. a partner with Simon, Peragine, Smith & Redfearn, L.L.P.  (2 credits)
