| Course Description | | | The major focus is on the law of contracts for the sale of goods, as embodied in Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Particular emphasis is placed on remedies for breach of contract and warranties as to quality. Throughout, comparison is made to the similar concepts developed at common law. First-year students must take this course OR the course entitled Obligations I. Students pursuing the certificate in European Legal Studies are required to take Contracts II if they took Obligations I as a first-year student, and vice-versa.
