| Course Description | | |
This course examines how the intellectual property laws apply to the sports industry and analyzes various facets of the international sports world. The intellectual property aspect of the course focuses on trademark law and the evolving right of publicity laws. The international sports aspect of the course focuses on issues that arise in various foreign professional sports leagues as well as the Olympics, including drug testing rules, free agency rules, and amateurism.
