Student Reviews

Hi Professor Griffin,
I hope this note finds you well. I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for such a wonderful experience at Cambridge this summer. I realize this note is rather delayed, but since returning from England I have been immersed in Law Review, a heavy class load, and OCI interviewing, and only recently have I come up for air. Still, I thought you might like to know how much I enjoyed the program and how much of an impact it has made on me. Being a part of Cambridge and Trinity College, even for just two weeks, was exceptionally enlightening and rewarding and I feel genuinely fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from such esteemed experts in their fields as Professors Barnard and Albors-Llorens. The experience and the professors have ignited an intense interest in EU Trade and Competition law that I hope to further through an LLM at Cambridge in the future to compliment my IP background.

I simply cannot praise the Cambridge summer program enough - from the class subjects, to the accommodations, to the professors, to the format as a whole -  it is a top-notch study-abroad program that I am actively encouraging my classmates at MSU to take advantage of. Had I not secured a summer associate position for 2010 (thankfully I just did!), I most certainly would return next year.
Again, thank you for such an invaluable experience this summer.

Just wanted to thank you for helping with logistics for the Cambridge program, where I am now. The program has been excellent, in particular because of the instructors and the location.

"The organization of the program was really great. I loved how we got to go on tours that were very interesting and also have time to enjoy Cambridge at our leisure. Classes were very informative but not too stressful. I am so glad that I went, and I'll recommend the program to others!"

Cambridge was amazing! I used my study abroad experience with Tulane University to fulfill electives for my International and Comparative Law Certificate. I never thought studying abroad was something you could do in law school, so I was really excited to have this opportunity. I would recommend going abroad at least once to everyone! If possible, I will be going abroad next summer through Tulane as well.

From Student Evaluations:

"For me, studying at Cambridge felt like being part of history. Thinking about all the great minds the college has produced, it was such an honor to take classes there. The town also has a large number of historic pubs, so even when classes were over and I went to get a pint, I still felt part of something steeped in rich tradition."
